Basketball looms, and you should all start getting ready for us to begin talking about it Real Soon Now. For the moment, be content with the fact that the Wildcats have played two games which don’t count, and have won them both.

Last night at Bramlage, behind 18 points and seven rebounds from Xavier Sneed — who Ken Corbitt discusses in the Capital-Journal — the Wildcats posted a 79-56 win over this year’s Kansas D-II sacrifice, ECAW’s beloved Fort Hays State Tigers. Dean Wade, Barry Brown, and Cartier Diarra all posted double figures as well; Kamau Stokes took the night off as he recovers from surgery to extract a tooth.
