The Wildcats rowing team competed in their first regatta of the fall over the weekend, and took three medals at the Jayhawk Jamboree in Lawrence on Sunday. The Varsity 4+ boats finished 4th, 9th, and 10th; the Novice 8+ boat finished second; and the Varisty 8+ boats finished 3rd, 7th, and 9th which qualified all three boats for the 300m sprints. The ‘A’ and ‘B’ boats made the semifinals (where they had to race each other), and in the finals the Cats ‘B’ boat finished 2nd, 0.
