While we were expecting, or hoping, this news to eventually come, it still took most of us by surprise. K-State head baseball coach Brad Hill has announced that at the conclusion of the season, his 15th in Manhattan, he will step down from his post. Hill’s time in Manhattan saw K-State baseball reach levels that no one thought possible, and his 2013 squad brought home the first conference title in baseball since 1933. The last five years have been a struggle, with the 2018 season set to be his worst as a head coach. But he hopes the team can go out with a bang, as there are still games remaining, including the final Big 12 series of the season this weekend against KU (Robinett, Eagle).
