Monday was either a bad day or a good day, depending on which of the two Kansas State Wildcats quarterbacks you were talking about.
First, we learned from Coach Klieman that Skylar Thompson is officially out for the season after having surgery to repair an injury sustained after a late hit during the Texas Tech game two Saturdays ago.
Now that he’s out for the rest of the season, Skylar has a much bigger choice to make about next season. The 5th-year senior could return, as this season doesn’t count for eligibility, and make another case for a shot at the NFL; or he could opt to be done, and leave the future of quarterback to Will Howard and incoming recruit Jake Rubley.
