The Kansas State Wildcats soccer team played the Oklahoma Sooners dead-even for the final 89 minutes on Sunday. Unfortunately, the first minute counts, too, and Oklahoma’s Erika Yost scored a goal on a rebound right out of the gate, and that made the difference in the 1-0 victory for the Sooners.

The Wildcats led the Sooners in shots (12-10), shots on goal (8-5), and corner kicks (6-5), but they were never able to find the back of the net. Through 11 games, K-State has scored only 12 goals, and seven of those came in two games, a 4-0 victory over Oakland and a 3-0 victory over Tulsa.
