Packers receiver Jordy Nelson says he had ‘hiccup’ with left knee

GREEN BAY, Wis.

Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson, who is starting training camp on the physically unable to perform list, says he had a minor issue with his left knee this offseason.

Nelson, the former Kansas State star, called it a “little hiccup,” and that he wasn’t worried about it. Coach Mike McCarthy also says he has no long-term concern with Nelson’s health.

Still, Nelson thought he would be back on the field for the first practice of camp on Tuesday. He missed the entire 2015 season after tearing his right ACL 11 months ago.
