Ohio State retains its grasp atop both the AP Poll and Amway/USA Today Coaches Poll, although another chip has been knocked off the paint as the Buckeyes lost a first-place vote with the sideline masters. In the Massey Composite Index, Clemson retained their grip on first place among the computer ranking systems.
Overall, there was very little change within the top 20 from last week in the human polls, largely a result of the combination of no upsets and a lot of teams taking the week off.
