Errors were the death of the Kansas State volleyball on Wednesday, as it fell to No. 2 Texas in straight sets (25-16, 25-21, 25-16) at Bramlage Coliseum.
The loss was K-State’s first-ever in Bramlage, breaking the Wildcats 11-0 streak in their home away from home dating back to 2003.
Wednesday’s loss also marked the 24th consecutive Texas victory in the series going back to the Wildcats’ win over the Horns during K-State’s 2003 Big 12 title season.
K-State head coach Suzie Fritz felt the Wildcats (11-8, 3-4 Big 12) hung with the Longhorns in many aspects of the match, but let the night get away with sloppy offensive play.
