MANHATTAN – For Kansas State’s men’s basketball team the ultimate Catch-22 starts now.
K-State has spent the better part of the past two months building a respectable nonconference resume, one that gives the Wildcats legitimate hopes of reaching every team’s goal – the NCAA Tournament. Coach Bruce Weber openly admits he is proud of his team, a revamped unit that surprised much of the college basketball world by posting a 10-2 record that includes a pair of road games against Power Five teams and competitive losses to nationally ranked North Carolina and Texas A&M.
“We’ve done a good job,” Weber said.
