Kansas State track and field signee Wurrie Njadoe will open competition at the prestigious Brooks PR Invitational, held at Renton Memorial Stadium in Renton, Washington, on Saturday.
The future Wildcat, who will be competing in the 100 meter dash, will run at the meet at 5:10 p.m. CT. The event showcases the top high school sprinters and middle distance runners in the country, with events ranging from the 100 meter dash to the two mile run.
This year’s competition will also showcase four professional races, including the men’s and women’s 1500 meter run, the men’s 600 meter run and the women’s 800 meter run.
