Newly committed QB swayed by positive initial impression of K-State

First impressions are crucial, as K-State has just been reminded, and the Wildcats are thankful they're on the positive end of that mantra.

Three-star 2016 quarterback Skylar Thompson had a handful of Power 5 options, including a few others in the Big 12, but was left with a lasting impression from the onset of his recruitment by the KSU coaching staff.

"I felt pretty good about them from the start," Thompson told GoPowercat.com. "They were already really high before they offered because I feel like I fit the mold of their program on and off the field.
