NCAA grants immediate eligibility to Kaylee Page at K-State

MANHATTAN — Kansas State women's basketball coach Jeff Mittie announced Monday that Kaylee Page, a redshirt freshman from Wamego, has been granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA after transferring from Nebraska.

Mittie also announced the addition of Megan Deines, a senior transfer from Louisville, for the 2015-16 season.

Page, the 2014 Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year, began her career last season at Nebraska but transferred at mid-year to K-State. The 6-foot-2 forward will have 3½ years of eligibility with the Wildcats, joining her sister, incoming freshman Lanie Page, on the roster.

"I'm happy for Kaylee and our basketball team," Mittie said.
