Coming off of a second-round loss in the NCAA tournament and with most of the team returning, there’s a lot for Kansas State coach Jeff Mittie to like.
The Wildcats return four starters and plenty of experience next season and add a class of players that Mittie thinks will bring more depth to the table.
K-State’s season ended with a loss to No. 1-seeded South Carolina in the second round of the NCAA Championships, but Mittie said the team has responded well.
“What I have seen coming off the NCAA tournament is a higher level of confidence,” he said Monday.
