Kansas State women’s basketball coach Jeff Mittie hopes to work toward being a #RingTeam, a hashtag used by the Wildcats over the summer.
“Let’s say we played at 50 miles per hour last year,” Mittie said. “We’d like to play at 65–70. We’re not going to be at 85–90 like you might see some teams, but I think we can find a good balance.”
Mittie called the Wildcats’ 19-13 season and second- round NCAA tournament appearance “decent.” He said the team is ready to return to the court and get to work.
“This team has to create their own identity, and this team has to have their season,” Mittie said.
