MANHATTAN — Most missed out on Kansas State billing the start of its basketball season as a home tournament of sorts.
The term used is unofficial. Something Bruce Weber coined to prepare his team to play two games in three days to begin the season.
“We’ve got a good mental approach,” the K-State coach said. “We’ve got our own mini-tournament here, our own Wildcat Invitational. Now we’ve got to take care of business on Monday.”
