Thomson nominated for Good Works Team
K-State guard Kelly Thomson was one of 103 nominees for the Allstate WBCA Good Works Team on Wednesday.
A junior from Riley, Thomson maintains a 4.0 grade point average and serves on the K-State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
The former All-Flint Hills girls’ basketball Player of the Year has suffered two separate season-ending knee injuries during her time at K-State, but has returned to be one of the top bench contributors for the Wildcats this season.
