Lockett scores first touchdown

It took one game for Tyler Lockett to show the Seattle Seahawks what he can do — when it actually counts.

The former Kansas State receiver returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter on Sunday to give Seattle a 7-0 lead over the St. Louis Rams, and he made it look easy.

“You give him that kind of space, he’s going to do something with it,” Carroll said. “You felt like halfway through the kick he was going to score because we’ve seen him do it already. That was really exciting.”

Lockett had already given the league a few hints of his big-play abilities in the preseason.
