The Kansas women’s basketball team begins its first season under Brandon Schneider with a 2 p.m. matchup with Pittsburg State on Sunday in Lawrence.
KU’s matchup with Pittsburg State is the first of two exhibition games for the Jayhawks, and the first of four straight home games.
WU VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS MISSOURI WESTERN TO COMPLETE SEASON SWEEP:The Washburn volleyball team rolled to victory Saturday with a 25-19, 25-20, 25-20 win over Missouri Western at St. Joseph, Mo.
WU has now won eight straight games, and improved its overall record to 25-2, and 12-2 in the MIAA.
