Lee, Willis have big days for defense

TWO-MINUTE DRILL

Free football
Saturday was the third overtime in K-State history and the second-ever at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. It was the first for the Wildcats since a 53-50 victory over Texas A&M on Nov. 12, 2011. K-State is 2-1 all-time in OT.

100-yards
Justin Silmon became the first K-State running back since John Hubert to rush for at least 100 yards in a game — a span 16 games dating back to Nov. 30, 2013 at Kansas. The redshirt freshman finished with 114 yards on 25 carries.

Streak ends
K-State allowed its first touchdown of the season with 3:30 remaining in the second quarter Saturday when LA Tech quarterback Jeff Driskel scored on a bootleg keeper on fourth-and-goal from the half-yard line.
