Lee Declares for NFL Draft

It is now official.

After announcing after the Texas Bowl that he would explore his options, All-Big 12 linebacker Elijah Lee took to Twitter to announce that he is forgoing his senior year at Kansas State and is declaring for the 2017 NFL Draft.

Lee recorded 110 tackles, 6.5 TFL, 1.5 sacks, and 2 interceptions during the Wildcats 2016 campaign. He also set a high for K-State linebackers with five interceptions in his career, that also included 209 total tackles and 11 sacks.

With the departure of Lee and fellow linebacker Charmeachealle Moore (to graduation), as well as safety Dante Barnett (grad) and defensive end Jordan Willis (grad), the Wildcats will lose four of the top six in tackles from 2016.
