MANHATTAN — Lanie Page is leaving the Kansas State women’s basketball team, coach Jeff Mittie announced Friday.
Page just completed her freshman season following a redshirt year in 2015-16. The former All-State selection from Wamego appeared in 25 games this past season, averaging 2.1 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.3 assists. She scored a season-high 16 points in a Feb. 11 game against Iowa State.
“Lanie and I had a good discussion and I respect her decision to do something else,” Mittie said in a K-State news release. “We wish her the best in whatever she decides to do.
