LUBBOCK, Texas — Back surgery kept Kyle Klein from playing last season, but the Kansas State wide receiver made a big impression in his comeback during spring practice.
Klein’s senior season has been up and down, still struggling with injuries that have limited his playing time. But when Kody Cook was injured in the second quarter Saturday, Klein came through with the best game of his career.
Klein caught six passes for 131 yards and his first career touchdown in K-State’s 59-44 loss to Texas Tech.
