Three Kansas players and one from Kansas State were selected to the All-Big 12 volleyball team Monday, with KU’s Ainise Havili named setter of the year and Ray Bechard coach of the year.
Havili was joined on the first team by KU teammates Kelsi Payne and Tayler Soucie, while Bechard earned his third coach of the year award for leading the Jayhawks to a 26-2 record and second-place 14-2 mark in the conference. Madison Rigdon was a second-team selection for KU.
K-State junior setter Katie Brand was a first-team choice for the second time in her career.
