The Kansas Jayhawks protected their home court against the K-State Wildcats but they can’t afford a letdown against their in-state rivals. The Jayhawks are in a two-way tie for fifth place in the Big 12 but just one game behind the leaders.
They cannot take a loss to K-State at Allen Fieldhouse.
Kansas is 4-0 at home but just 1-3 on the road. As tight as the conference is this season, with six of the ten teams within one game of each other, there is no room for a bad loss at home for any of these schools.
