Kody Cook expected to play for Kansas State against Iowa State

Kansas State football coach Bill Snyder expects Kody Cook to play on Saturday when the Wildcats take on Iowa State.

Cook’s status was in question following an injury against Texas Tech. Cook, a senior that plays receiver and quarterback, sustained the injury on an awkward tackle in the first half. He took himself out of the game and never returned.

K-State will welcome his presence at both positions against the Cyclones. He has caught 17 passes for a team-high 296 yards and two touchdowns this season. He has also had his moments at quarterback, subbing in for starter Joe Hubener.
