Klein returning to K-State as QB coach

After a one-year absence from the program, former Kansas State quarterback and assistant coach Collin Klein is coming back to the Wildcats.

GoPowercat.com first reported late Saturday that Klein was expected to leave his post as quarterback coach at Northern Iowa and return to Manhattan to serve in the same capacity on Bill Snyder’s staff.

It’s expected that Klein will replace current co-offensive coordinator/quarterback coach Del Miller, who announced his retirement on Monday. He will remain with the school as a quaility control coach until his contract expires in May.

K-State is expected to formally announce the move sometime this week.
