Klein gets 2-year deal

Former Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein signed a two-year deal to be a Wildcat football assistant on Tuesday.

Klein will serve as the quarterback coach for the Wildcats and be paid $150,000 annually.

The deal includes typical bonuses for making it to a bowl game, including: having an eight-win season or six Big 12 wins, a nine-win season or seven-win Big 12 year, a Big 12 championship win, College Football Playoff bowl game, National Semifinal game, National title appearance or National Championship. Klein receives his base salary multiplied by a predetermined percentage based on the highest percentage achievement the team reaches.
