MANHATTAN — Kansas State has seen its share of standouts at linebacker over the years. Dating back to the 2012 season, the Wildcats have seen Arthur Brown, Blake Slaughter and Jonathan Truman all lead the defense both statistically and vocally.
Now it seems the reigns have fallen upon junior Will Davis. Davis leads the team in tackles with 12, and he is the only current linebacker who can say he saw all three of those Wildcats, as he redshirted in 2012 before working his way up the depth chart and finally getting his chance last season.
Davis’ journey to the top of K-State rotation hasn’t been an easy one.
