For the first time in almost 5 seasons, the Kansas State Women’s basketball team is ranked among the nation’s best. They deserve the attention.
For the third straight season, the Wildcat women are off to a 10-1 start for head coach Jeff Mittie and the Kansas State women’s basketball program was elevated on Monday to 24th in the week 7 Associated Press top-25 poll. The last time they were ranked- January 2012.
Mittie has the ‘Cats playing outstanding defense and playing teams others avoid. Their only loss is to the defending national champions.
