The Kansas State women’s basketball team pulled away from Abilene Christian for a 76-45 victory on Monday.
K-State (2-0) trailed 18-17 after the first quarter, but dominated the rest of the way behind 20 points from Megan Deines and 19 points from Breanna Lewis.
Both K-State players were impressively efficient. Lewis made nine of 12 shots, while grabbing five rebounds and blocking five shots. Deines made seven of 10 shots, including two threes, adding three steals and two assists.
The inside-outside combination was too much for Abilene Christian (1-1) to keep up with.
