Northwest Missouri State handed West Georgia a 38-23 defeat in the Division II semifinals, which means they'll take on Shepherd at 3pm CT this Saturday... at Children's Mercy Park (aka Sporting Park) in Kansas City, less than an hour from the Bearcats' campus.
The game managed to draw almost 7,000 souls last year when it featured Colorado State-Pueblo and Minnesota State-Mankato. With an MIAA team in the final, that figure will get blown away; only once during the championship's long tenure at Braly Municipal Stadium in Florence did it fail to draw over 10,000 fans when an Alabama team was involved.
