MANHATTAN — After building a 13-point lead, the Kansas State women survived a late 12-4 run by TCU to win their second straight Big 12 game, beating the Horned Frogs 58-49 on Saturday night in Bramlage Coliseum.
The Wildcats ended the Horned Frogs’ run by doing what they did all night, feeding Breanna Lewis the ball in the paint. The 6-foot-5 junior scored the Wildcats’ final four baskets, finishing the night with 25 points.
“Hats off to Breanna Lewis, it was a great game for her,” TCU coach Raegan Pebley said. “In the end, I think her presence inside — even though we were trying to make a run — sustained their lead.
