This game probably means little. K-State is comfortably in the NCAA field according to ESPN's Charlie Creme, and a loss to the 22nd-ranked team in the country probably isn't going to change that. But a win would be a good launching pad for a post-season run -- and, more importantly, might help push the Wildcats off that 8-9 line. If there's one thing you want nothing to do with in the NCAA women's basketball tournament, it's a second-round game against a #1 seed.
