Weeeeeeee’rrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack...
Well, mostly anyway. For the first time since the 2013-14 season the Kansas State Wildcats have earned an appearance in the NCAA Tournament, even if it’s one of the two play-in games.
K-State, an 11-seed, takes on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, also an 11-seed, tonight in hopes to make the round of 64 (aka “The First Round”) and a matchup with 6-seed Cincinnati.
Wake Forest is led by former Jayhawk, and bane of K-State, Danny Manning. Manning is currently 43-51 in his third season leading the Deacons, and in his fifth year of head coaching is looking to take his second team to the NCAA round of 64.
