Kansas State received some good news to start the week.
According to John Rothstein of CBSSports.com, redshirt junior D.J. Johnson has been cleared to resume on-court activity and will play this upcoming season for the Wildcats.
Johnson, a 6-foot-9 forward, averaged 13.9 minutes per game on the Kansas State squad that made the NCAA tournament two years ago. He broke his foot in a loss against Kentucky in the Round of 64 and has been recovering ever since, missing the entire 2014-15 season.
The St. Louis, Mo. native appeared in all 33 games in 2013-14 and averaged 3.
