Before Darren Sproles was a sensational running back for Kansas State football from 2001-2004, he was running wild around the state of Kansas, with highlight videos of him as a kid all the way to being a star for Olathe North High School.
From Olathe, his travels took him to Manhattan, where for Bill Snyder and the Kansas State offense, he accumulated 5,588 total yards of offense and 47 touchdowns. During that time, he helped lead the Wildcats to an upset victory over the top ranked Oklahoma Sooners in the 2003 Big 12 Championship game, and a bowl appearance in the Fiesta Bowl.
