Kansas State Football: Skylar Thompson puts on show in win over TCU

What a game and what a win for the Kansas State Wildcats! K-State fought hard throughout and a crucial fourth down conversion late in the game helped pave the way for the Wildcats to win their first Big 12 game of the season.

Quarterback Skylar Thompson was great on Saturday, even if his numbers don’t exactly pop off the page. He completed just 11 passes, but threw for 172 yards and two of them also went for touchdowns. Thompson was also the leading rusher for K-State, carrying the football ten times for a total of 68 yards and he scored the game winning touchdown on a rushing touchdown.
