Kansas State commit Dorian Stephens, out of Blue Valley High School, was named to the Kansas Football Coaches Association 6A All-State team.
Dorian played in 8 games, collected 17 receptions for 280 yards and scored two touchdowns. He also ran the ball 6 times for 33 yards, and returned 4 kicks for 52 yards. While these stats seem a bit underwhelming, Blue Valley employs a run heavy attack that relies on quarterback Greyson Holbert’s running ability over his passing acumen.
Stephens saved his best for last in a 28-21 loss to Olathe North. He pulled down 5 receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown.
