Its preseason college football magazine season and we’re happy to announce several Kansas State Wildcats have been honored by multiple publications.

Kansas State seniors Dante Barnett and Cody Whitehair each earned All-Big 12 honors in preseason publications from Athlon, Lindy’s, Sporting News, and Phil Steele. According to k-statesports.com, “Whitehair was also named a Preseason All-American by Athlon, while Lindy’s named him the eighth-best offensive tackle in the nation. Lindy’s also touted Barnett as the fourth-best safety in the country entering 2015.”

Dante Barnett earned 2014 Second Team All-Big 12 honors. He started all 13 games for Kansas State, finishing second in tackles and took home Big 12 player of the week honors following a huge game against the Texas Longhorns in week 9.
