Kansas State’s 2018 recruiting class remains small, but the Wildcats landed a potentially big high school prospect on Tuesday.
Wayne Jones, a three-star defensive back from Owasso, Okla., orally committed to K-State and announced the decision on Twiter. He chose K-State over notable competitors Oklahoma State, Illinois, Louisville and Michigan State.
“I’m extremely blessed to have found my home away from home,” Jones wrote on Twitter. “And with that being said, I will be committing to the Kansas State University.”
