It didn’t take long for the Kansas State basketball team to fill the front-court void on its roster.
Mawdo Sallah, a 6-foot-9 junior forward from Mount St. Mary’s, committed to K-State four days after the Wildcats dismissed sophomore forward Isaiah Maurice, according to a source with knowledge of the commitment. Sallah is on pace to graduate in August, making him eligible to play next season.
Sallah is expected to join K-State after spending three years at Mount St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg, Md. He has two years of college eligibility remaining.
A native of Latri Kunda, Gambia, he started 35 games last season and helped Mount St.
