Brandon Bolden has played his last basketball game in a Kansas State uniform.
The junior forward has been granted a medical exemption coming off a broken wrist that ended his sophomore season early, meaning he can remain on scholarship at K-State without playing for the basketball team. Bolden intends to stay at K-State in hopes of graduating with a degree in sociology in May 2016.
“It is always disappointing for a student-athlete when injuries derail on the court dreams,” K-State coach Bruce Weber said in a release. “But Brandon has continued to work hard in the classroom and we look forward to seeing him earn his K-State degree next spring and supporting him as he determines his post school path.
