Kamau Stokes, a Kansas State freshman point guard, was arrested by campus police Monday for failing to appear in court.
The arrest was made at 10:53 p.m. on the 1900 block of Kerr Drive in Manhattan, according to Riley County police records. He was released on $175 bond.
Stokes is from Baltimore. He signed with the Wildcats in the spring and is expected to play meaningful minutes this season, splitting time with junior-college transfer Carlbe Ervin.
K-State’s first exhibition game is Oct. 30 against Emporia State.
