Earlier today, Kansas State athletics announced a $15 million dollar project to upgrade Tointon Family Stadium, and build a permanent women’s soccer stadium. $7.5 million has already been pledged towards the project.
The upgrades to Tointon Family Stadium include a new facade and roof for the grandstand, and a new clubhouse along the third-base grandstand.
The new soccer stadium will be built on the site of the existing temporary facility and provide better seating, concessions and restrooms for the fans, as well as better locker room facilities, and amenities for the players.
These upgrades, specifically the facades of both stadiums, bring continuity of style and architecture to the four biggest athletic facilities on campus.
