MANHATTAN — Kamau Stokes is having fun.
Why wouldn’t he? The freshman is starting at point guard for Kansas State’s basketball team, off to a solid start for a team that has won its first two games after a pair of exhibition victories.
Stokes’ definition of fun, however, is a bit unique.
“Fun is defined by how hard you work in practice and how much you play defense in games,” he said.
Stokes is averaging 7.0 points, 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds for the Wildcats, who go for their third victory against South Dakota (1-2) at 7 p.
