K-State's Schultejans provides spark for Wildcats

MANHATTAN — With a roster that doesn’t feature a single senior while having seven freshman, the Kansas State volleyball program’s experience isn’t great.

But the team that will be traveling to its second straight NCAA Tournament doesn’t seem to be lacking talent.

The Wildcats came into the season facing many questions on their roster. This was especially evident after losing last season’s Big 12 Freshman of the Year and AVCA All-American honorable mention outside hitter Kylee Zumach in the second game of the season, forcing K-State to look at its young roster to find a fitting replacement.
