MANHATTAN — Justin Edwards knew there would be an upgrade in the competition level when he joined the Kansas State basketball team after two seasons at Maine.
Edwards practiced with the Wildcats and watched Big 12 Conference ball from the bench during his redshirt transfer year. He had an idea of what to expect, but when he stepped on the court last season the level of play was more intense that he imagined.
As he enters his senior season with the Wildcats, the 6-foot-4 guard has a firm grasp on what to expect.
“For me, coming from Maine, it was the atmosphere of all the different colleges,” Edwards said of his biggest adjustment.
