K-State women’s golf opens spring in 10th

TALLAHASSEE Fla. — The Kansas State women’s golf team carded a 16-over-par 304 on Sunday to finish the Florida State Match-Up in 10th place at the par-72, 6,265-yard Don Veller Seminole Golf Couse and Club.

K-State totaled a three-round total of 54-over-par 918.

The Wildcats were paced on Sunday by junior Katherine Gravel-Coursol, who fired a 3-under-par 69 to jump 19 positions on the leaderboard, finishing in a tie for 33rd at 12-over 228. Her final-round score was a career low and the second-lowest 18-hole score by a Wildcat this season.

K-State was led throughout the tournament by junior Madison Talley, who carded a 9-over 225 to tie for 23rd.
