MANHATTAN — After allowing a huge offensive night from slumping South Dakota, the Kansas State women managed to pull out an overtime win behind three double-digit scoring performances from their starting lineup.
The Wildcats saw an increase in production by their two starting guards, junior Kindred Wesemann and senior Megan Deines who scored 28 and 17 points, respectively.
Also in the double digits for the Wildcats was junior center Breanna Lewis who managed to score 17 points while being three rebounds short of a double-double.
“This game, we gave up a lot of points quick and we scored some quick,” K-State coach Jeff Mittie said.
