MANHATTAN — Kansas State made 10 3-point baskets, none bigger than the final two late in the third quarter.
The Wildcats’ 11-point lead over No. 21 Oklahoma had been cut to three before Kindred Wesemann and Kaylee Page sank back-to-back treys, keeping momentum on their side and snowballing to an 87-71 victory Tuesday at Bramlage Coliseum.
“It was obviously really big,” said Wesemann, who was 6 of 8 behind the 3-point line in a 26-point night. “It brought the house down. We got a lot of energy from the crowd after that play. It’s always great when your shots go in.
